The 24th Annual Night of Knights Auction is around the corner. The auction committee is working hard to ensure we meet or beat last year’s profits, which will be no small feat. With $120,000 raised the Auction Committee wishes to thank everyone who contributed to the outstanding success of last year’s auction.
The Night of Knights Auction is the main fundraiser for St. Mary’s School. 85% of the proceeds go to the school’s general operating fund and 15% funds the Home and School Association.
This year’s auction will be held on Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at St. Mary’s School. Doors open at 4:00pm. Please mark the date on your calendars now! You won’t want to miss this fast-paced, exciting evening out!
We are introducing our new Hawaiian theme this year! Come and enjoy a Pina Colada with us. Got a Hawaiian shirt in the closet? Break it out, and show your support!

Our Car & Cash Raffle is even more exciting than last year! We will be giving away a new 2010 Ford Fusion (tax and license fees paid) courtesy of Owatonna Ford -or- $15,000 cash! The second winner will receive $1,000, and the third winner will receive $500. We will be selling a limited number of tickets again this year, so your chances of taking home a new car or cash are great! Whether or not you win, buying a Car & Cash Raffle ticket is a great way to support St. Mary’s School. Tickets are being sold for $50 each and may be purchased at the school office, KC Hall, Owatonna Shoe, or from any committee member. Tickets sold out last year, so hurry to get yours before they are all gone!
Also, don’t miss the great selection of Silent Auction items, Mystery Raffle, Split the Pot, and our new Hawaiian Raffle. Get there early to be included in the Early Bird drawing!
The past success of the auction has been due to the generous support of the St. Mary’s staff, the Owatonna Business Community, families of St. Mary’s students, parishioners, and St. Mary’s School alumni. We are grateful for their continued support year after year! The auction committee is always looking for people, or businesses, willing to donate their time and treasure toward making this event a success. Please contact a committee member if you are interested in making a contribution to the 2010 Night of Knights Auction.
If you are looking for donation ideas, we are always in need of household goods, small and large electronics, vacation destinations, bikes, camping or yard equipment, tools, gourmet food baskets, sports equipment, theme dinners, services (painting, snow-removal, photography, etc.) lawn mowers, art work, tickets to sporting events or concerts, and children’s toys. We always welcome any other ideas you may have.
Please contact a committee member if you have any questions or would like to make a donation.
